About Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml

Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines used for the short-term treatment of seizure clusters. Seizure clusters are episodes of elevated seizure activity, defined as two or more seizures occurring within a 24-hour period. They are upsetting situations that can leave you feeling anxious, frustrated, or helpless.

Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml contains Midazolam which works by increasing GABA activity (a chemical messenger in the brain). Thus, Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml suppresses the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain and controls fits.

Use Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml as prescribed and for the duration as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Sometimes, it may cause side effects such as headache, drowsiness, runny nose, throat irritation, and nasal discomfort. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Midazolam or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or are breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml. Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml is not recommended for children below 12 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Avoid consumption of alcohol with Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml as it may cause increased drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml affects you. Avoid using Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml if you have acute narrow-angle glaucoma (eye problem). Do not take Insed Nasal Spray 5 ml with opioids until and unless prescribed by a doctor, as it may increase the risk of breathing problems, severe drowsiness or coma.
