Notini TZ Tablet 10's

Notini TZ Tablet 10's is an antibiotic medication primarily used to treat diarrhoea, dysentery and stomach infections. Dysentery is an intestinal infection generally lasting for three to seven days, causing severe diarrhoea with blood. Diarrhoea is a condition in which bowel movements are too frequent, leading to loose, watery stools. Acute diarrhoea is a common problem and generally lasts for one or two days, whereas chronic diarrhoea lasts four weeks.

Notini TZ Tablet 10's is a combination of two antibiotics, Norfloxacin and Tinidazole, primarily taken to treat diarrhoea, dysentery, and severe stomach infections. Norfloxacin helps by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and hence killing the bacteria. Tinidazole kills parasites that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Both of them help effectively treat the infection by killing the bacteria as they are bactericidal in nature.

Notini TZ Tablet 10's can be taken with or without food. For best results, take Notini TZ Tablet 10's as advised by your doctor. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Like all medicines, Notini TZ Tablet 10's may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Some side effects of Notini TZ Tablet 10's include nausea, dryness of mouth, stomach upset, headache. Most of these side effects of Notini TZ Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Notini TZ Tablet 10's if you are allergic to Notini TZ Tablet 10's, tinidazole, norfloxacin, or any of its ingredients as it can lead to abnormal neurological signs (such as dizziness, vertigo, difficulty in controlling movements). Norfloxacin present in Notini TZ Tablet 10's is known to cause tendon rupture, so be cautious while taking Notini TZ Tablet 10's. In patients having myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), Notini TZ Tablet 10's should not be taken as it is known to worsen your condition further. Notini TZ Tablet 10's should not be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not start using a new medication without telling your doctor. Diarrhoea can cause dehydration, so please increase the intake of fluids. If you have constipation or have blood in stools, do not take Notini TZ Tablet 10's. Consumption of alcohol, along with Notini TZ Tablet 10's, can cause stomach irritation and increased drowsiness.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Notini TZ Tablet 10's may have interaction with pain killers (aspirin, ibuprofen), anti-coagulant/blood thinner (warfarin), anti-gout (probenecid), antibiotic (azithromycin, sulfamethoxazole, ciprofloxacin, trimethoprim, amoxicillin, metronidazole, nitrofurantoin, erythromycin), calcium supplements (calcium/vitamin D), antidiabetics (Glyburide), antiepileptics (Phenobarbital, Phenytoin) and live vaccines (cholera, typhoid).

Drug-Food Interaction: Notini TZ Tablet 10's is known to interact with multivitamins, caffeine, dairy products, multi-minerals.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Notini TZ Tablet 10's is known to interact if taken along with colitis (inflammation of the colon), CNS disorders, myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), kidney or liver problems, peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage of brain), QT interval prolongation, history of tendon rupture, neurological disorders, blood dyscrasia (abnormal disease of blood).

• Antibiotics can alter the useful bacteria in the stomach, which helps indigestion. Therefore, you are advised to take foods rich in probiotics such as yoghurt/curd, kefir, sauerkraut, tempeh, kimchi, miso, kombucha, buttermilk, natto, and cheese.
• Eat fibre-rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
• Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice as they might hinder antibiotic's absorption.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol to treat your condition effectively.
• Avoid usage of tobacco.
• To cure your condition effectually, complete the full course of Notini TZ Tablet 10's even though you find symptomatic relief.

• Diarrhea can cause dehydration, so please increase the intake of fluids.
• Norfloxacin present in Notini TZ Tablet 10's is known to cause tendon rupture, so be cautious while taking Notini TZ Tablet 10's if you have a tendon rupture history.
• Norfloxacin present in Notini TZ Tablet 10's may cause live bacterial vaccines (such as typhoid vaccine) to not work as well. Do not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication unless your doctor tells you to.

• You must avoid being in the sunlight for too long as Notini TZ Tablet 10's may make you more sensitive to the sun.
