ACTARIT
About
ACTARIT belongs to a class of drugs called disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARD) used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is an auto-immune disease (the body's immune system attacks its tissue) that leads to joint pain and damage.
ACTARIT contains Actarit, which works by modulating production and serum levels of interleukin-2, which improves the production of suppressor T cells (prevent T-cells from attacking the body's healthy cells) by the immune system.
Take ACTARIT as prescribed. You are recommended to take ACTARIT for as long as your doctor has advised it for you. In some cases, ACTARIT may cause common side effects such as itching, rash, stomach pain, or blood in the urine. Most of these side effects of ACTARIT do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects worsen or persist, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Actarit or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, please inform your doctor before taking ACTARIT. Drive only if you are alert after taking ACTARIT.
