CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE
About
CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE is a combination medicine used to treat irritable bowel syndrome, peptic ulcers, enterocolitis (swelling in the intestine), and symptoms related to intestinal infection. Irritable bowel syndrome is a common disease that affects the large intestine. Peptic ulcers are sores that develop on the stomach and intestine lining due to erosion of the stomach's protective lining. Enterocolitis is an inflammation of the digestive tract caused by bacteria, virus, parasites, fungus, or other causes.
CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE contains Clidinium (anti-cholinergic), Chlordiazepoxide (benzodiazepine), Dicyclomine (anti-cholinergic), and Ranitidine (H2 blocker). Clidinium and Dicyclomine relax the stomach and intestine muscles, thereby providing relief from cramps, discomfort, bloating, and pain. Chlordiazepoxide decreases abnormal and excess activity of the nerve cells in the brain by increasing a chemical messenger called GABA. Ranitidine works by blocking H2 receptors, reducing gastric acid secretion and providing relief from acidity and heartburn.
Take CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE as prescribed. Swallow CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or crush it. You are advised to take CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE+CLIDINIUM+DICYCLOMINE+RANITIDINE for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition.
