Calcium Dobesilate+hydrocortisone+lidocaine+troxerutin+zinc Oxide+phenylephrine belongs to the group of medicines called anorectal preparations used to treat anal fissures and haemorrhoids (piles). Haemorrhoids, also known as piles, are the inflamed and swollen veins in the rectum and anus that cause discomfort, pain and bleeding. An anal fissure is a small tear in the mucosa that lines the anus. This causes pain and bleeding during or after a bowel movement. Calcium Dobesilate+hydrocortisone+lidocaine+troxerutin+zinc Oxide+phenylephrine relieves pain, inflammation, discomfort and itching associated with piles and anal fissures.
 
Calcium Dobesilate+hydrocortisone+lidocaine+troxerutin+zinc Oxide+phenylephrine contains Calcium dobesilate (vasoprotective agent), Hydrocortisone (steroid), Lidocaine (local anaesthetic), Troxerutin (vasoprotective agent), Zinc oxide (antiseptic) and Phenylephrine (decongestant). Calcium dobesilate and Troxerutin promote healing and lower inflammation by decreasing the viscosity of the blood and reducing leakage from the blood vessels. Hydrocortisone helps in reducing itching, redness and swelling due to piles. Lidocaine blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Phenylephrine decreases irritation and discomfort by shrinking the blood vessels in the affected area. Zinc oxide has an antiseptic and astringent action. You are advised to use Calcium Dobesilate+hydrocortisone+lidocaine+troxerutin+zinc Oxide+phenylephrine for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Clean and dry the affected area. Take a pea-sized amount onto the applicator and apply it directly onto the rectal area.
